The Photography of Daniel Lutz

  1.
  2. Enter the darkroom, not a place to fear with spiders, and creepy thinks that go bump in the night, but a place for experimentation, creativity and just plan fun. The digital age of darkrooms are so much different than when I was learning photography, the smell of the chemicals fixer and stop bath filled the air the drying of prints hanging all over the place and if I wanted a glossy I would have to ferrotype it before RC papers were a standard. The first thing I always looked for when I moved was to see what room would work for a darkroom, seal it off so it was black as the night even during the most sunny days. For me long gone are safe lights, enlargers, and grain focusers, I have found a new medium where I don’t need all the fancy setup and trays to process. Simply "DIGITAL" is the way to go. Check out the daylight part of my site here: thanks for stopping by.
I have been drawn into shooting portraits, all my new work, galleries, and photoblog can be found here:

My wish list is long and with my eBay sales I have been able to fill my camera bag with goodies, I need a good bag to carry the lot now… I saw a Billingham 445 bag that was wonderful just need to get together the funding LOL, as always I am wanting more than I can get well who isn't.  The new Digital Darkroom Computer has been built, 3.4Ghz P4 with 1GB Ram, I see quite a difference running Photoshop. But as always I have found something better, enter Apple Macintosh; this has just blown me away with the image editing capabilities. Maybe before next Christmas.
